MBI s.r.l. was founded in 2001 with a mission to create innovative IT services and telecommunications systems. MBI builds tailored solutions based on careful analysis of customer needs. Our solutions include those based on open standards.It builds SW / HW systems for data processing and transmission. The MBI production cycle includes analysis, consulting, planning and implementation followed by attentive customer care and maintenance. The staff is made up of over 50 developers, technicians and commercial staff, involved in projects and solutions to achieve scientific-technological excellence.
In this project MBI together with EUTELSAT SA is involved in engineering and implementing transceiver systems at the teleports that will be used by SmartLNBs.
This system (EBIS – EUTELSAT Interactive Broadband System) will allow the collection of information transmitted from all SmartLNB terminals to an integrated technology platform and then forward them to the data centres of the various operators.

Il CNIT (National Inter-universitary Telecommunication Consortium) is a no profit organisation of 40 research institutions (university departments and institutes from CNR (national research council). It was set up in 1995 with two specific aims. Firstly to co-ordinate and promote which aims to coordinate and promote theoretical and applicative research activities also in cooperation with national and international institutions and businesses. Secondly to carry out advanced training programs in the Telecommunications field. Each member is involved in designing, building and managing equipment, systems and services in the telecommunications sector. CNIT is organized into Research Units (UdR), National Laboratories and Research Centres. The UdRs are based within the universities of the consortium while the national laboratories are CNIT structures that can be exploited by the universities in order to develop particularly advanced research activities.Currently, three national laboratories are running, including the national laboratory of photonic networks and the national radar laboratory and surveillance systems (RaSS), both based in Pisa. The RaSS national laboratory was established in December 2011 and with the aim of developing applied research in the field of radar, remote sensing, applied electromagnetism and more generally in the ICT sector.

IBIMET was founded in the late 1970s with the aim of carrying out research in the field of meteorology applied to agriculture and the environment.For over 30 years the institute has been continuously updating its scientific and technical skills while actively involved in often pioneering international research and consulting programs. This means it is able to identify major issues of our time and often predict urgencies in the field.
IBIMET studies, designs and develops applications of numerical models for agricultural crops and ecosystems; applications for weather forecasting systems; applications of methodologies such as satellite remote sensing and geographic information systems. It also involved in the eco-physiological and biochemical analysis of plants and the effects of greenhouse gases on agro- ecosystems.

PROGECOM is a consulting company specialized in providing communication services and management organization to Italian local authorities.It is based on a group of professionals who have always worked in contact with the world of public administration, who have in-depth knowledge of the dynamics but above all their needs.
Even though it is in charge of public communication from every angle, it has also focused on designing and implementing software and mobile applications. Within the project its main goal is to enable the application software to support project data.
It deals with services in the field of communication, management reorganisation and Corporate Social Relations. Its “core business” is to support local authorities in planning and communication for the Civil Protection service. PROGECOM, in partnership with Anci Innovazione, has developed the webgis ProCiv PAS platform (PrevenPROGECOM, in partnership with Anci Innovazione, has developed the webgis ProCiv PAS (Prevention, Warning, Safety) platform. It is the first system in Italy designed to make available to the general public, the data of the area’s safety system via a free App for smartphones and tablets, in order to communicate weather warnings as well as the contents of Municipal Civil Protection Plans.
With the director, Federico Binaglia, supported by his staff specifically hired for this project Through the figure of Binaglia and with the support of personnel hired ad hoc for the project PROGECOM will develop the integrated communication system that includes the application for the presentation of data.
